All early childhood services across Australia undergo an Assessment and Rating process. During this time, the service is assessed against a set of quality areas. Our preschool was assessed as Exceeding the National Quality Standard, demonstrating that we go beyond the national standard in each of the 7 quality areas. These include Educational Program and Practice, Children’s Health and Safety, Physical Environment, Staffing Arrangements, Relationships with Children, Collaborative Partnerships with Families and Communities and Governance and Leadership. To achieve this rating, we work in collaboration with our families, children and management to ensure that every aspect of our practice reflects a shared vision.
